A reflection on the discussion, idea generation and discourse of last Wednesday's class : I'm happy to be thrown into BlogWorld as it is an area about which I knew nothing and now I do ! Only a little, but learning more . . the search engine thoughts are interesting. It is too easy to simply google everything. RESIST ! Arranging the exhibition feels a bit like running through the dark but I have faith that we will be guided at some point.
I am keen to get into Maeda, and will have lots of opportunity as this brings me to my next matter, my old farmer dad (pictured above) needs the replacement for his replacement hip replaced, and after being air ambulanced to Adelaide he is listed for surgery next Wednesday morning. (Third time lucky ?) I have just arranged to fly down this Saturday to be with him and as a consequence will miss class next week. But I will be across The Laws of Simplicity - what a fabulous book !
Catherine - hope the hip gets replaced irreplaceably. Thanks for letting me know. I agree about the Maeda book. His logic is clear and simple, which is the whole point really.
